This beautiful garden is surrounded by many large trees, which provide a lot of shade to this yard most of the day and made impossible natural sod to grow properly. The homeowners wanted to have a green lawn area under the shade of the trees and also to set up outdoor furniture to use this area for relaxation. Better Than Real Artificial Grass prepared the landscape area designated for the installation of artificial synthetic grass by doing the following steps: first thing, we cleared the area and dug up about 3" deep of surface; then framing the perimeter of the installation area with synthetic bender boards; bringing 2.5" thick of base rock, spraying base rock in installation area,  compacting and grading; laying out a landscape fabric to prevent any future germination of garden weeds; laying out and securing the artificial grass using 6" nails every 2 ft on center and 2" nails to secure artificial sod to the bender board frame; power brooming blades to brush them up and make them stand straight up; finally, infilling with as mix of silica sand mesh 30 and green-colored crumb rubber. Now this artificial lawn is ready to be used by the homeowners for so many years to come without the maintenance complications that come with natural sod. Better Than Real Artificial Grass installed approximately 350 sqft artificial turf type SD-90 with Dead Ends. This artificial grass looks and feels like the real thing, that even the big plastic crocodile looks alive!
