1,400 Sq Ft of artificial synthetic grass were Installed in this property in San Rafael, California for a big outdoors playground area. The main objective in this project was to provide a safe outdoors environment for the 3 children to play and exercise at the commodity of their home. The type of artificial synthetic grass installed here has a texture and density that meets the conditions previously established to meet this objective. The type of grass selected for this installation is the Poly Premium 80 (PP-80), the color selected is called blend color (it's a mix of yellowish and greenish blades, which mimics the color of natural grass), with a face weight of 80 oz per square yard (one of the heaviest artificial synthetic grasses available in the market) and a blade height of 1 3/4" (this is the most recommended blade height). The ground preparation done prior to installation of artificial synthetic grass was to easy because of the topography of this area. As you can see, the uneven downhill surface creates a natural slope that easily allows water to flow quickly and drains all the water out without a problem, so it wasn't necessary to install a drainage system at all. The installation process done here is the same process described in our installation guide tab.
