There wasn't anything wrong with the natural grass in these areas. But the owner of this property contacted Better Than Real Artificial Grass in San Rafael for a few reasons: the natural slope of this surface made difficult and risky for a landscaper to mow the lawn and give regular maintenance to the natural grass;  the water shortage in the state, which has caused the increase in water rates in the county and possible restrictions. She also wanted to contribute with saving water by minimizing the water use in her lawn; and last, the lawn needed maintenance every week to be in good condition, and she wanted to reduce maintenance expenses. The only maintenance she has to do now is to remove any debris (usually fallen leaves) from the artificial synthetic lawn. This installation took 3 days to be completed and the total square footage for both areas was approximately 800 sq ft.
