Better Than Real Artificial Grass did this artificial synthetic grass installation for a playground area in a shelter in Petaluma, North Bay Area, California. This area was covered by dirt with some weeds and dead trees, totally inappropriate for children to play on.  The shelter administration office requested estimates from a few companies, and as a non-profit organization, they were looking for the best price, installation procedure and quality from a licensed contractor. As usual, Better Than Real Artificial Grass was selected to do this project because we met the requirements mentioned above and we submitted the best quote. The surface designated for the playground area measures approximately 650 sqft. The type of artificial grass installed is Liberty Elite 90 in the Fescue Blend color. This type of artificial grass in one of the densest and heaviest grasses from our selection. Also, a 1 1/8" playground padding was laid out underneath the artificial turf to make the surface softer and reduce fall impact considerably, making this surface safer for the children.
