The climate here in California is friendly to almost all beautiful plants. Unfortunately it favors almost all weeds and undesirable plants as well. I fought St Augustine grass in my lawn for years with everything the nursery would sell me. They finally admitted nothing would kill it. My artificial synthetic grass installation has prevented the growth of St Augustine in my yard(and if there is anything underneath, it has been unable to penetrate the artificial synthetic turf). Now I don’t have to adjust and maintain the sprinkler system, I don’t have to mow or trim the grass, I don’t have to spray or pull weeds out. I don’t have to worry about diseases in my grass. Also, I am retired so I have the opportunity to travel frequently and be away from home for short and long visits. I don’t have to worry about who takes care of my lawn and how good they are doing the job. It is very rewarding when people stop and admire my artificial synthetic grass lawn.
