  We are so pleased with our new artificial turf and so glad we chose Better Than Real Artificial Grass to install it in our front and backyard.  We contacted several... read more companies and acquired quotes.  Better Than Real Artificial Grass are the only company that offered both gofer wire and fabric to prevent weeds and insure no gophers, moles or voles poked holes in lawn.  From the beginning appointment with Jorge, the process was seamless and their large crew completed the work in about a day and a half.  In addition to being thorough, they were conscientious in cleaning up all materials and sand when finished.  You will not be disappointed!

  We wanted a makeover of our back yard.  It was mainly filled with dirt and weeds, with a pool and raised garden beds.  We wanted to get some nice artificial... read more grass for our kids to play on.  We requested quotes from three companies, including Better Than Real (doing business as Rainbow Landscape).  I got in touch with Jorge and he was extremely responsive and showed up when he said he was going to.  He offered suggestions and was not pushy at all.  We had an old buried concrete curb, which one company didn't want to touch.  They originally scheduled us for two days to install.  The first day was rained out, so they said they would bring an extra helpers for the second day. They were able to knock it out in one day.  They were careful to lay out some tarp so as to protect our front pavers.  They did a lot of the little things right too, including replacing our hose nozzle after using it.  The only critiques would be to plug back in the pool pump plug (they used the outlet), and some of the workers left some minor trash in our front yard after their lunch.  Their final price was very competitive and fair, and it was about $3000 less than another company.  They seemed to have more samples to choose from than other companies as well.  We would use them again in the future, and just may if we decide to replace the front lawn.

  Just had artificial turf installed in my front yard.  It is a large area, and quite the investment.  We are very happy with the finished project.  It took two days... read more -- one for prep of the area and one to lay the turf.  Both days were very long for the excellent crew that did the work.  They were right on time to start, even after a one day rain delay.  The prep was done to perfection and the clean up at the end of each day, was excellent.  The second day the turf went down.  Where day one was all physical labor, day two was the tedious hands and knees stretching, trimming and seaming the turf followed by adding the infill and lots of brooming and grooming to fluff.  Included is a picture of the finished job.  I highly recommend Jorge Jimenez and his crew.

  Had 160 sq ft of dead turf replaced with artificial grass on 8/19/2021.  Guys were on time, did a great installation job (turf tear out, grading, granite layer and tamping... read more it down, framing area with bender board for nailing turf into, installing 2 seams (they are invisible!), raking in the sand and then cleaning up.  Only took 3 hours (but the area is pretty small). $15/sq ft quoted which was within range of 2 other quotes I got (except for one at $28/sq ft which was discarded).  Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Jorge. We had a hiccup in the timing for tree delivery (which the turf was waiting on) so he loaned me two guys and a truck to go pick up the trees ourselves and get them to the site so we could finish the project that day. He went above and beyond and for that I would recommend these guys all day.

Last week, on Thursday morning, my wife and I realized that the combination of a new puppy, a lawn that had expired due... read more to lack of water and that recent rains had turned into a mud hole we really needed to do something about our back yard. Bathing the puppy after every excursion out to pee wasn't the answer.
I went online to do a bit of research, called several places including Better Than Real Grass and got a sense of the pricing and their availability to do the work -- because we wanted it done as soon as possible.  Gabriel said they could come out to give an estimate the following day at 10.  Jorge showed up the next morning exactly at 10, looked at the yard, made his measurements and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the price, gave him a check for 10% of the total. He told me it was a two day job, with the weather forecast the schedule was a little uncertain but he'd see what he could do.  Later that day I received a written estimate, a contract and an invoice and the news that they would start the next day, Saturday!   And not only that, but that they would complete the job the same day,  Wow! Saturday morning at 8 am they showed up: an 8 man crew, a dump truck, a van with their equipment and a portable toilet. They were organized and efficient and they finished the job, cleaned up everything, swept and washed the walks and, at 4pm, they left and we had a pristine new lawn.
I had plenty of time to observe them and the work over the course of the day and feel confident in the installation: they excavated deeply enough, the gopher wire (an added element) was properly placed and the base rock is well compacted and properly graded so that water will drain and not pool anywhere.  Borders and edges look good and well finished.
So, in a nut shell:  we are very happy.
